Jennnifer Hudson is seven months pregnant with her first child, a longtime friend of the Grammy/Oscar-winning 27-year-old told The Chicago Tribune over the weekend.

The singer/actress has been laughing off rumors that she and fiance David Otunga are expecting since reports first surfaced in an April report from Essence Magazine.

But according to the star’s pal Felicia Fields, Jennifer celebrated the baby’s arrival with at a relative’s home in her native Chicago, Illinois on Saturday, May 30.

“It was a baby shower, a quiet gathering of friends and mostly family. They’re really trying to keep it kind of quiet. It was a nice time that we had,” Felicia told The Tribune on Sunday.

Jennifer and David are determined to keep the sex of the baby a secret - with guests at the party lavishing her with neutral coloured gifts.

“They don’t know (the gender).”

Eminem stormed out of the 2009 MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night after Bruno star Sacha Baron Cohen’s ass landed in his lap — literally!

The rapper had just finised performing a medley of tracks from his new album Relapse and was sitting in the audience when Cohen’s gay alter ego, Bruno, flew overhead in a dove outfit, chanting, “Ich bin Bruno. Ich bin dove of peace –” baring his naked backside, he landed upside down on rapper Eminem’s lap.

“Are you serious? Are you fuckin’ serious?” Em screamed as his entourage violently tried to free him.

“Is the real Slim Shady about to stand up?” Sacha continued to joke as the audience laughed in delight.

Eminem and his entourage left their seats and walked out of the show.

Hip-Hop fashion mogul Kimora Lee Simmons is a new mother, after giving birth to a boy on Saturday morning (May 30).
 
Kimora Lee and partner Djimon Hounsou announced the birth of the on Simmons’ Twitter page. “It’s a boy,” Simmons exclaimed. “Thanks to everyone out there for all your well wishes! More to come. Thank God. And God Bless!”
 
She also was quick to note that the hospital picture she took was a departure from her usual, high-profile photo shoots.

Kimora Lee Simmons and boyfriend Djimon Hounsou have welcomed a baby boy.

The 34-year-old Baby Phat designer made the announcement on her Twitter page late Saturday.

“It’s a boy! Thanks to everyone out there for all your well wishes! More to come. Thank God. And God Bless! Kimora + Djimon Love & Light, KLS,” she wrote.

Before the baby’s big arrival, Kimora spent part of the day keeping fans updated on her delivery with the help of Twitter messages. She even posted a picture of herself in the hospital. “It’s time !! No turning back! At hospital in labor right now!!” Her last Twitter update before making the announcement reads: “Having contractions now! Ooo- wee! It’s like WHOA!”

Kimora has two daughters — Ming Lee, 9, and Aoki Lee, 6 — with Russell Simmons. The boy is the first child for Djimon, 45, the Oscar-nominated star of Amistad and Blood Diamond.
